W 2 d 2

We got up ate breakfast and went to the village that my church was working in. we  went to check in on our sponsored child tarina . She left the sponsorship program but she is doing well . saw her cousin uberky she was coming back to her house with her new born baby ! she is not much older than me . we went back and got a friend to show us some good stores that get us good prices. We went home and I did school . Ugh . Then we ate supper and did more shool. Uuuuuuuggggghhhhhhh. Then we played wizard. Wizard is a game were you bet to see how many tricks you will win. I did not do well . ( For once!) Then we went to bed.

W 2 d 3

Today is Saturday, a day off ! So we stayed at home for the morning and just chilled .but in the afternoon we partied at the beach .  So we went to a surf beach hoping to get some lessons but we did not get one . There was sand rock all along the beach but we found a sandy spot . The wAves were massive they knocked you down all the time unless you went user them or jumped over them . It was a lot of fun.  =) we left the beach and bought some groceries.  then we went and bought supper at a restaurant called "little fatty" "smirk ""giggle "  "chuckle " they had amazing tacos . Then we went home and talked and went to bed. 

W 2 d 4 

Today is Sunday so we went to church in the morning. Then after church we had all the pastors from the villages come to our house and meet.  Our water and electricity  was not working so Raphael our neighbour across the street the husband of belky  (I don't know how to spell it) came over and fixed them. We gave him some money , it was not much but he said "it is a lot because there was no cooking in our house today. " When I  heard that my heat melted. so  we invited their family over for dinner.  They went home  and we went to bed. 

W 2 d 5 

Today it rained really hard in the morning , and everyone loves waking up to the smell of a wet dog that has never had a bath . Ugh .  That happened to me  .  We have a gate that keeps most dogs out. But small dogs can get through . Which is unfortunate because every animal wants to be dry so bobby our neighbours dogs slips through the gate and sleeps on the porch ( which has a roof over it)  which is unfortunate because our window is right over it letting its wet dog smell into our room. ugh. But we went into l.a (las albadonis  the village we are working in.) and my family went around while me and my brother did school in the missionary house . When it was lunch time we went home and ate . We had a pastor come to our house and my parents and her talked.  I did more skul- i-i mean school work. I ate supper and went to a youth group.  After I came home and did my journal ( right now) and hopefully I will sleep until the next day.( if bobby doesn't come tonight .) 

W 2 d 6 

So today we chilled at the house for the morning. During that time we found out that one of Belky's sons passed away at three in the morning he was in a coma . In the afternoon we went to another village called parraisso which in  English it is paradise .and compared to the other villages it is paradise the government has given them some money  and they've  used that to make shops and the shops have classes to teach the people how to do the process . That gives the people job skills to get better jobs. We came home and me my brother and sister went to John and Jane's pool . We went home and had friends over for supper . That lasted a long time. At 9 they left and we went to bed. :) sleeeeeeeeeeeep:)

W2 and 3  recap 

So sorry that I was not righting I could not find my I pod but the main things that happened is I went surfing on valentines day ( thursday) we did home work, had people over ,and went to the village . 

W3  Tuesday 

To day is Tuesday we almost went to go surfing but we called Dustin he said  the waves were to big for noobs like us . Not like that he just said they were to big  We got up and ate and did home work. We did the alpha course. 

Wednesday we got up and went to the village and my mother and sister did a girls club. Me and my brother did home work .  We went to the beach and swam there were massive waves . Even bigger than normal . They really could have hurt. They could pick you up and smash you against the sand . You had to time getting in and out  we went home and then went to our friend Claire's house for supper . She made spaghetti.  it was so good ! Mmmmmm spaghetti drool drool.... what . 

W 4 thurs 

Today we did English classes in the morning in. In the after noon we went to la sirena  ( a big store ) we bought flip flops for me (there really comfortable ) a beach volley ball , food , some other stuff . 

Friday

We did school all day ugh  and at the end we got ice cream and watched a movie we watched x-men origins wolverine it was a good movie . 

Saturday

We got up and went to the beach played beach volleyball for around 25 minutes then we went swimming we did not find any shells we went home and did school we went to get alado ( ice cream ) my dad got his hair cut.  We came home and I played on my iPod then I went to bed.  Sleep I would like to sleep yawn ...... .. Snork ..shuffle.... yawn .. .. Whaaaa oh sorry :| oops . :p

Sunday 

We went to a Dominican church it was the opening ceremony because they just made  the church they had massive speakers , volume on as loud as it can and for some reason the singer decided that it wasn't loud enough so she yelled into the micro phone . Oww. Someone has a long high pitched ring tone for their phone either that or it's my ear ringing . Probably my ear .  Then we played on the computer in the afternoon. We then went to bed . 

Monday 

We did school on Monday for the full day up until around 6o'clock . At 6 we went and got burgers and fries for 99 paceos ( I don't know how to spell it ) . Then we went to a youth group . We came home and went to bed. 

Tuesday 

This morning we did the alpha course that took all morning . Then we packed for Wednesday and Thursday . we are planing on goi g to Samana and meeting some other missionaries ( also a vacation ) . 

Wednesday 

We got up really early this morning at (drumroll please) 5 o'clock. not my idea but we are going to Samana . It is a 4 hour drive and we want to get out before the parade starts . today is I Independence Day in the Dominican. So we drive and drive and drive and drive and guess what we do next!? We drive!!! Fun . ( For miss Thomson nice) Ugh . So we get there and we saw the missionaries and we talked and drank some of their coffee. We left and we drove(more driving fun) along the sea and we see the sea and we saw the cool view of the sea. And then we took a boat ride and went to a really cool beach.(or for miss Thompson, nice) . We saw fish and sea urchins ( thankfully not stuck to my foot!) they were so cool ! (Nice) then we left and we got alado (ice cream) and lunch. mmm food . We then checked into our hotel. We then went to get supper . We went to a restaurant . We ate, but we picked a bad spot because the parade was just on the other street and the road was packed. The side walks were being ridden on by motorcycles that were revving their engines and puffing out fumes turning the air blue and there was so much noise! We went to the hotel and we went to sleep . 

Day 1 

Today is day one our stuff came today after it got stuck in Newark so that was good we searched our back yard and found a lot of cool stuff. Lots of geckos and bugs. it is very noisy here dogs are barking ,chickens clucking ,radios on loud, people talking motor cycles the list goes on. So either than the noise it is absolutely Gorgeous and warm many new plants, bugs, lizards it is so cool here! That is enough for today. =)

Day 2 

So today is my big sisters birthday although she is not that big. so we are planning to go swimming in the ocean today that will be fun. I'll tell you about it at the end of the day. Today was fun  we woke up we t shopping for some food and then we went back to our house and we asked our neighbour if they wanted to celebrate my sisters birthday by going into town and eating ice cream .they did not want to pay because they did not have much money so we payed for them. They were so happy, that made me happy. After that we ate lunch and then we spent the day in the sun on the beach. There were massive waves I went body surfing. We all got hungry so we went to a ocean side restaurant. There many people trying to sell stuff like coconuts, jewelry,  one person asked if they cold put beads in my hair! It wold not have worked well with my short hair.  after that we walked until alongside the beach until it got dark. We then drove home. we all had a shower then went to bed. At least tried to because some neighbour of ours ( a kilometre away)played music so loud. It was like it was right out our windows.

Day 3 

Today was fun we went to church for the morning. after that we ate lunch and my dad and the car dealer guy fixed our rental car. Oops we are just boroing it from a taxi driver freind that is sick . After that we ate supper went to a friends house their names Jane and John. They had a pool so we went swimming. We went back to our house and talked and then and to bed . 

Day 4 

So today me and my dad did a jog this morning at 6 :00 .ugh .

But it was nice it was good to get Into the village more look around and get exercise. We ate breakfast  and then hired the lady across the street ( her name is belky )to do our laundry it's not that we're lazy we just want to creat jobs for the people .then we left to go into Esperanza to work.  we went through the village and prayed for people then we went back through the village and bought some things from a store that the village people built I got a cool bracelet . After that we went to the beach and ate lunch there we found a piece of dried coral then I body surfed body surfing is when you let the waves carry you like a piece of drift wood. We came home and did our home work. We then ate and then went to a youth group that was a lot of fun. We came home and went to bed. 

Day 5 

Today my sister and a Friend (her name is Claire )  went to an orphanage that's enough on them they come in later.  we got belky our neighbour  to wash the floor and teach my mom how to make this good snacky food . We then did home work until lunch time. after lunch we got word that the man (our translator elmond )we were going to meet with was going to be late so we went to the super market on the way we picked up my sister and our friend. We came home and met up with our translator . I did home work wile my parents and  the translator talked. We ate super and went to bed. 

week 2 day 1 

Today I got to play a game of basketball with my dad and a boy who showed up. his name was josewen. he almost beat me. (not really) I asked him how old he was I was expecting around 6 or 7  because he was not tall but he was ten! We are so lucky that we have good nutritional food.     I went home and did homework, ugh . But after I ate then went to swim I came home and watched a movie we tried the movie Rambo but it was really gruesome and it made my sister get nervous because it was placed in a jungle like the one were are in so we watched get smart . Again. Then we went to bed .
